Activating Your Service
Travel to Egypt
Set your cell phone to the apropriate GSM 900 frequency (as needed)
Be sure the battery on your international cell phone is charged
Insert the Egypt MobiNil SIM chip into the cellular phone*
Turn on your phone
Your mobile screen will show either "602 01" or "MobiNil"
Enter the pin # 1234
Start calling**
We recommend you to use immediately the attached voucher to increase your credit and to prolong your SIM's active period.
Customer service with your Egypt MobiNil SIM card is available simply by dialing 110 from the cell phone.
*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Egypt SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Egypt SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the Egypt SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.
**Your first chargeable call activates your phone. To call a MobiNil mobile dial 012 before the number. Expample: 012 3004555. To call a fixed line, dial the area code, followed by the number. Example: To dial a number in Cairo, dial 02 1345677. To call abroad from your Egypt cell phone simply dial 00 followed by the country code, area code, and phone number. For example, to call UStronics, dial 00 1 703 444 4077.
When calling overseas from the United States to your Egypt cellular phone number callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 20 and then your Egypt cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero).
Adding Talk Time
From time to time, your prepaid Egypt MobiNil SIM card may need to be recharged with airtime credit. In order to credit your Egypt MobiNil SIM card with additional airtime, simply:
Purchase a MobiNil airtime (Top-up card) voucher from a Kiosk or authorized MobiNil dealer. Vouchers are available at 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300 LE
Scratch off the gray panel to reveal your airtime top-up pin code.
Recharging During Validity Period
When you recharge during your validity period, you will be granted both extra airtime credit and the longer validity period. Please note that you need to use your credit before the end of the validity period; otherwise, the remaining credit in your account will expire. For example, if you have 5 days validity and you recharged your account with EGP 100 scratch card (15 days validity); your credit would be increased by EGS 100 in addition to the longer validity period (15 days in this case).
Recharging During Grace Period
When you recharge during your grace period, you will be granted the airtime credit and new validity and grace periods based on the scratch card denomination used. Please note that if you do not recharge during the grace period, your nubmer will be suwpended.
SMS Activation
Navigate through your handset until you reach "Service Center Number" under "Message Menu" and enter the following number once only: +2012 200 0020. For more information refer to your handset manual.

Service Life
The initial 1 EGP credit works only for one day. Therefore, we provide a 25 EGP voucher to be activated on the first day of using your SIM card. You can extend the service life of your SIM card by purchasing additional airtime.
